Expert Wiring was registered in 2004 by David Seligmann, servicing Bayside, Victoria.
David has been an Electrician since 1989 and started his apprenticeship with a computer engineering company. He has a strong background, not only in the electrical industry, but also the telephone and data communications industry. He later went onto work for some of Australia’s biggest contractors, where he picked up other specialties such as pay TV, free to air TV, CCTV and intruder security alarms, as well as access control.
He has all the relevant licences which include Electrical Contractor, A Grade Electrician, Open Telecommunications Licence (registered with ASIAL), and Security Registration with the Victorian Police Licensing Services Division.
David has continually kept up to date with all the latest technologies, including solar power, battery technology, electric vehicle chargers, and LED lighting, among others. He also helps train others in the industry as he has achieved his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He teaches and provides course delivery on a regular basis, sharing his expertise and experience with new electricians.
In 2004 David made the leap and started his own unique business, Expert Wiring P/L.
Expert Wiring has full public liability insurance in order to undertake any size project.
Expert Wiring offers that good old fashioned friendly and reliable service, where punctuality is a priority. We are a local, family owned business that takes pride in our work. We always keep in close contact with our clients. We believe communicating with our clients is a very important part of our service . We make sure that all our work is of high industry standard that we would have in our own home and business, and will not compromise on workmanship or complying with the current wiring regulations. All electrical work is signed off with a Certificate of Electrical Safety and the customer always receives their copy. Recently, Dave has taken Lolly, his daughter, on as an electrical apprentice. She is an enormous asset to the business. David aims to impart his decades of experience in the elctrical industry, as well as show her the correct and safe way to operate, both as an electrician, and an electrical contractor. Lolly is excited to learn all she can from the business, and a bright future awaits!
